Grateful Dead
United States
Приєднався 28 лют 2006
Will you come with me? Won't you come with me? There's no better place to take a long strange trip with the Grateful Dead than right here. We've got music from every single studio album and a bevy of live albums, to boot. There are celebrated live performances from the 70s and 80s and official videos with more skeletons than you can shake your bones at, an exclusive seaside series on what's to come from the band's rich catalog and details on meet-ups all across the promised land. If it's community you’re after, try your hand at our yearly DEAD COVERS PROJECT competition and connect with fellow Dead Heads around the world. Heck, keep your eyes peeled you might even catch a glimpse of Pigpen on keys, Jerry in a GROOVE, Bobby tellin' tales, Mickey talkin' space, Phil and friends, Bill on the beach, or anyone from our extended family.
It's all happenin' right here. Subscribe and you won't miss a thing.

Too bad Jerry never got around to preserving his physical temple.
I really like this version
💐
1989 summer, I was only 7,wish I could've been there. Thanks for the upload.
Like concrete....the Grateful Dead built a foundation that's beyond practice
🖤✌️💙
❤❤❤❤
I’ve been doing a lot of mushies recently and I will never understand this band. Not trying to hate (but I guess I still am) but It sounds like a song by the wiggles. I will continue listening to stereolab and Boris
Backwards cowbell
That opening power chord. The bass leads. Hornsby on keys.... Beyond spectacular. Would love to hear a better Help on the way
Other times you’d gladly part with what you need to live …
Long Liv the Dead San Rafael Marin county San Francisco California 🍄🌁🌁🌁🍄🍄🌍🍄🌎🍄🌱💧💧💧🍄
I was not ready for that “Heads Up” at 33:42 😮❤💛💚🍄😎🤙🏽 A long strange trip indeed. 🙏🏽🇺🇸
Those were the day ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you mom for taking me to see the Grateful Dead on New Years, at Cal Expo back in the day! ❤
Rest In Peace. Bill Walton.
Miss those days, so grateful for my amazing mother, who raised me right. Miss you Alicia Mae ❤❤❤❤ the music sings on in your glory. ✌️🥰💯🌍
Love and miss you mama, thank you for being you and raising me with the love of life in its real form. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you mom for being a Grateful Dead fan. I miss going to the concerts with you. I miss you too. Embrace life and be grateful for those moments. I feel the energy always ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I didn’t realize how important every little lesson learned fishing trip rained out mattered until my dad passed. I am now driven to make sure I don’t repeat that mistake with my kids. Peace to you and your Mom
He looks identical to my father... ⚡🐻💀🐢🌹
Am I the only one who thinks Money Money was reworked into I Need A Miracle?
Interesting thought
Yes. You are.
Yes, Garcia's riff is very similar, as is the chord structure and the accents. They took the gist of the song and reused the feel.
Sky Papa.
present
This song has become the "Red Headed Step-Child" of Grateful Dead songs and at first it was my least favorite on the album; but now I absolutely LOVE it!
This is one of my favorite shows that I got to go to!! Such good memories!! Miss you boys together. There will never be a band like The Grateful Dead!! ❤❤❤
My first show. I've been hooked ever since !
goes to show…..
Even the crack of dawn isnt safe around here .....
Shut up, Donna. No one likes you.
Not my favorite song... Frankly I'd rather hear Rooster when I don't have to piss... and yet, it's an interesting podcast so far nevertheless...
I mean... used all 32 tracks, lots of overdubs... first Dead track to use digital delay on a lead vocal... no less than 4 different keyboard instruments... That strikes me as a sign of, "Maybe if we polish it just a little bit more?"
You know, the pace of the Seattle version makes it groove... Still, the lyrics... I'd have stashed it away, too.
And the interviews about the tour, and especially the clips from shows I've never heard, have kept me glued. Thanks for that.
There not COMPLEX,its NATURAL,And Mostly EXAGGERATED.....Except for POLLUTION...And thats, UNNATURAL.... So , EASY CHOICE STOP LITTERING All Over THE Earth ...
Cool.... The Dead and the Doors hit hard in the early 90s
Enough this the backward cowbell...no more backwards cowbell
Beautiful as always. Miss you Jerry. ❤
Lord made a lady out of Adam's rib, next thing you know you got women's lib Lovely to look upon heaven to touch It's a real shame that they got to cost so much 😲😉😆😅😂🤣🤣🤷♀️
Booooommmmmm where is my tape deck ...
The committed and the curious? <raises hand>
I haven’t listened to Mars Hotel in ages. Thanks for sharing the anniversary
As a late bloomer in my 50’s in becoming a fan of these guys, this is one of my favorite tunes. I just wasn’t into it at all in my high school days and for several decades afterwards. They are excellent musicians and these days I find myself playing it often.
Jerry...❤
Long Time No Jerry
I always get the feels from this one. ❤️⚡💙
Built to Last is such an underrated album. Lots of cool compositions by Mydland. It was actually my first touch to Grateful Dead as I bought that CD new back in the day as a 16-year old. So it's special for me.
10/18/74. What a fuckin show. Sets far too long to list here, but it may not even matter bc this WRS is the pinnacle of the show. It's by far the best one they ever played. Shits straight up magical. They nailed it. I wish part 1 & the intro stuck around post-break.
Drop the pro shot of 7/9 & 10.

Underrated tune at least in my book. The one from Alpine this year brought me to tears, first set classic!! Man I miss this band, these were my good old days!!
Like the Pyramids of Giza, where of course the Dead played 🍄⚡🍄
The George Washington look was always one of my favorites
Hahahaha, I’ll never not see it now! 😂❤
Ahhhh, the Edsel song!
Edsel, damn I thought I was old🤣🤣🤣
